The Energy Transition Hub made a submission to the Department for Industry, Science, Energy and Resources' Discussion Paper on its Technology Investment Roadmap. The Roadmap will inform Australia’s first Low Emissions Technology Statement later in 2020. This will guide the Government’s technology investment portfolio to reduce emissions and be the cornerstone of the Long Term Emissions Reduction Strategy. 

The Hub sumission highlighted its recent research on energy transition and the potential for renewable energy powered domestic and export industries - in particular hydrogen and hydrogen-based, synthetic fuels, energy exported via high-voltage direct current transmission lines, and energy intensive goods including  zero-emissions metals.
